NYS Writers Institute at Albany
Pulitzer Prize-winning novelist William Kennedy founded the Writers Institute at Albany in 1983 with part of a fellowship awarded him from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The Writers Instituted the first Town Hall on the Student Loan Debt Crisis in the Unite States in November 2020.
